Went out with my college friends last week, and it's a good thing that we are all vigorously living our lives, and yes... managing it very well. First question popped out... "What do you do now?" Most of us are all doing well in our job and earning more than enough to make ends meet. However, there is one who's not satisfied, but chooses to stay because he knows that jobs are hard to find today.
This is a problem in many urban areas and will be trickling down to more rural areas pretty soon enough. Some of you have already lost your job and are looking for a new one, or you are finding a job in a new field for the very first time. When finding a job in a tough market today, do you necessarily have to aim lower than what you really want?
Although sometimes you will be forced to do so, no matter how bad the economy is doing, you should still try to find the job that you want. What you need to decide on is how far you are willing to drive when finding a job that is up to par with what you want.
You may not have a choice when things are tight and many are finding a job right along side you. When times are bad, taking something you may not want may not be ideal. However, you must be realistic. If you want to have a brighter future, you must do something for "the now" first. Things will pick up, so taking something for a short time would not hurt, but still feeds your family.
